A couple once told me that looking through my gallery of their wedding photos was like “walking through the jungle, never knowing what you’ll find.” I loved that description so much, I will never forget it.
Maybe I got it from my days studying Communications Media at IUP, or working as a photojournalist at the Valley News Dispatch, but I believe that photography is one of the most powerful ways to tell a story. And your love story? It goes so much further than what you can see in portraits. Weddings bring up strong and subtle emotions, quirky human things, mistakes, big joy, high highs, low lows, and humor. These are the elements of your love story that really speak to me, and they are exactly why I became a documentary-style wedding photographer.
