I vow to be there on your wedding day come rain or shine, for 2 guests or 200, for the smiles, the tears, and everything in between. I vow to be your confidant and friend — someone who earns your trust, who respects your vulnerability, and who honors your love story by documenting it authentically.

It’s always stressful to photograph a friend, but it’s a bit more stressful to photograph a friend’s wedding. And even more so when that friend is a wedding photographer!
Lucky for me, Amanda and Steven were wonderful to photograph. I was able to work as a photojournalistic wedding photographer and find unposed photos all throughout their wedding. Their short and sweet ceremony was held on their porch, which gifted us several moments of candid joy from their neighbors, plus a delightful photo bomb from a bright red Jeep.
Amanda and Steven incorporated thoughtful details in their ceremony. Their friend Julie James did an incredible job of using different colors and textures for floral arrangements, and I especially loved that Steven wore his beloved rottweiler Vader’s collar around his wrist for the ceremony.
