There's nothing worse than cabin fever, so I jumped at the chance to shoot Valerie and Jim's engagement session in the middle of February. Jim, being a Pitt student, was already familiar with the incredible architecture of the Cathedral of Learning in Oakland so shooting their session there was a no-brainer. We spent the day tip-toeing around the students and found a variety of interesting nooks and crannies. We even snuck into a few of the gorgeous nationality rooms to mix up the backdrop their photos. When we were just about wrapped up with our shoot, we ran through snow flurries and made a quick stop to Heinz Chapel and grabbed a few photos in front of the red doors. Stunning.
