Remember Sarah and Joe? They got married!
That morning, I met up with Sarah and her bridesmaids at Cameron Salon where she had her make-up done before heading to her parents' house to finish getting ready.
My second shooter for the day, Megan Stahl, grabbed this great image of Sarah waiting in the stairwell while I was upstairs photographing the start of the ceremony at Our Lady of Assumption Parish. This is one of the benefits of having a second photographer--if I didn't have Megan with me, this image wouldn't exist.
After the ceremony, we stopped at Getty Heights Park for some relaxed portraits of the bridal party and the lovely couple. I love these images--the reds, blues, and golds really pull everything together.
While I was shooting from this wide angle...
...Megan was shooting tighter and caught this fun moment between Sarah and Joe. I love when couples can relax and be themselves in front of the camera! It's not easy, but after our engagement session in August, I knew Sarah and Joe would have no problem letting their personalities shine through.
After 30 minutes or so, we packed up and headed to the reception at the Elks Lodge where they celebrated with friends and family into the night.
Thanks again, Sarah and Joe! And congratulations!
